The royal wedding of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese in 1810 marked the first Oktoberfest celebration and the first royal Munich wedding in nearly a century. Served at the festivities were 232 hectoliters of beer, equal to over 49,000 pints. Ludwig’s Lager is a märzen-style beer aged for 10 months in foeders. Strong oak notes with medium body and pronounced malt flavors.
