Brewed originally in the early 2000’s by John Kimmich and Greg Noonan of The Alchemist, the New England IPA was a game changer for hoppy beers setting a trend that has yet to die down. Spot hop refers to the purchase of hops on the spot directly from growers. In this case, we bought Chinook, Wakatu, Rakau hops from Hop Alliance in northern Michigan, lending a super juicy flavor profile to our first ever NEIPA.
